I am honored that USA TODAY published my opinion piece during Women’s History Month about resiliency. And, that I could share my voice, both in the public square and privately with my daughter, as my mom did for so many voices that needed to be heard. Advocacy is and should be such an important part of our lives.
It has been a year since the pandemic changed our lives forever, and for my daughter it has been ten percent of her life.
